Need Prayer?

In the right column of The Generous Wife main page is a “Prayer Requests” (no longer active) section (under “A Place to Share”).  Yep, that would be a place where you can ask for prayer.  Do check there often and do a little praying for your fellow sisters as well.  Enjoy.

Catch Those Little Foxes

Sometimes being sexual is about having enough emotional and physical energy.  What are the things that are exhausting you?  Do you have too many things to do or too much responsibility (are you too busy)?  Are you physically too tired or too emotionally overwhelmed (are you taking care of yourself)?

I encourage y’all to take a couple of days to think and pray about your time use and self care.  You must take care of yourself first so that you will have the energy to take care of others.  Being happy and healthy makes it easier to be a good lover to your husband.

Making History

Research your family trees together.  If that’s not desirable or possible, do a little work starting with just your two lives (for future posterity).  Write out dates and interesting things that have happened in your lives.  Document your own little bit of history making.

Every family tree produces some nuts. ;-)   Author Unknown

Oooops!

Make an ooops! box for your husband’s car or office.  Put in things like safety pins, double-sided tape, needle and thread, a small tube of super glue, and anything else that he could use when he needs to fix something.

Never Ever Let Him Forget He’s a Man

Men are masculine.  I realize that that is a rather obvious statement.   I think it’s important for men to be appreciated for their masculine traits now and then (probably just as we like being appreciated for our feminine traits).

So keep an eye out for those times when you can appreciate him for his physical strength, his willingness to take on a hard battle, or even for something as simple as getting the box off the shelf that you can’t reach.   Let him know his masculinity is beautiful to you and that it blesses you.

If it can’t be fixed by duct tape or WD-40, it’s a female problem. Jason Love
