I Want to Be a Radical

I’ve been thinking about our culture and attitudes toward marriage. There is some good stuff out there (yay, church!), but there is enough anti-marriage rhetoric around, I still have the occasional fuss and stomp day.

I want to live so radically different in my marriage that people do a double-take and say, “Whoa, what’s going on here?” Marriage is meant to be a small picture of the bigger picture of Christ and the church. I would like to honor that in radical ways and preach the gospel by what I do and say – especially in how I treat my husband.

My marriage will never be perfect in this life (we are both still beautiful and broken), but I can grow in my ability to radically love on my man.

Let’s be radicals!

A radical and transformative thought goes nowhere without the willingness to challenge convention.
