Step Back from His Storytelling
As the holidays approach there will be more social gatherings with the usual telling of stories.
Uncle Henry will retell his infamous cow tipping story. Your sister will tell stories about childhood mischief and sooner or later your husband will chime in with a story of his own.
I encourage y’all to let your husband tell his stories without any correction or interruption from you.
It’s a respect thing.
We all remember things a bit differently and most details are not that important. It’s the social connection of storytelling that matters. Let the details go and smile.
