My husband and I live in a fifth wheel RV. Space is limited and those areas we use often have to stay clean or they quickly become unusable. We actually like it this way because it motivates us to keep our house neat and clean.
However, there are times when we get busy and let our usual routines go or we change our routines and mess starts to build up. This happened in our dining area as we moved from fall to winter. Piles of books appeared (I don’t know how that happened!). Tools and materials piled up . A collection of papers mysteriously appeared. We had to move things just to sit down for a meal.
So one day we pitched a clean fit and turned the various stacks of stuff back into a dining area.
Is there an area in your house that is creating a good deal of friction or inconvenience? It might be your garage entrance, your kitchen counters, or your coat closet.
Don’t let it continue to create frustration and hassle. Pick a time and pitch a clean fit.
