What I Appreciate About You

At a recent gathering we asked everyone to share their name, how long they’ve been married, and one thing they appreciated about their spouse.

After we had gone around the room and shared, it was amazing how soft and caring the conversation had become.

What I Appreciate About You - Just a few words, but marriage changing.

Being appreciative and sharing what you love about your spouse with them can make a significant impact on your relationship.

Share often.

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.  Thornton Wilder

  1. I remember an event many years ago when we were asked to do what you describe. My husband spoke so kindly and lovingly about me, I was overwhelmed. I did not know he felt that way about me because he had rarely verbalized his feelings that way.

    • How sweet. Nice to have a chance to speak those words and receive those words.
