Basic Theology:

I believe that there is one God, eternally existing in 3 persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension and His personal return in power and glory.
I believe that salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ (and, boy howdy, do we need it!). 

Marriage :

Marriage is covenant relationship between one man and one woman and should last until death ends it.
As believers we need to help couples build and maintain healthy marriages.

Things you can do to build your marriage:

Read marriage books, discuss them with your spouse and practice what you read.
Gather a few couples and create a marriage support group. Pray together, learn together, etc.
Put good marriage books in your church library.
Join a Financial Peace University class near you. 

Womanhood:

I started The Generous Wife as a way of encouraging women to build their marriages. Along the way, people began to look to me to talk about theological concepts of womanhood. I really didn't want to enter the fray, but silence is seen as tacit agreement on all points, whether it is a poster's comment or a book or blog post that I recommend.
