Pray for wise speech for your husband. Pray that he would know what to say and when and that he would know when it's wise to be silent.
Whoever quards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles.
Proverbs 21:23 NKJV

Find a time and place for a little face-to-face snuggle. Be affectionate and let him know how much you love and need him.
Your words are my food, your breath my wine. You are everything to me.

When your husband is crunched for time are there things you can do to help him out? Run a couple of errands, be an extra set of hands, or bring him a meal as he works. Help him out where you can.
Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day.

The generous tips are designed to be a steady stream of ideas for blessing your husband. Because I can't speak to every relationship, I encourage everyone to be creative and tailor the tips to your unique relationship. As a way of modeling this, I'd like to share some nice variations shared by a few generous folk (thanks all!) about the recent tip about using a journal to exchange questions with your husband.
Jessica: My husband and I do the same thing through email. We also use email as a source of expressing new intimate ideas for the bedroom. It is a lot easier for my husband to express feelings and emotions to me through writing/typing since he's not a big "talker."
Jon (yes, we have the occasional husband who "listens in" to the tips his wife receives): I have created a password protected jornal at www.tiddlyspot.com that my wife and I use online. It's kind of a shared personal journal that I also use to communicate my emotions over some things.
Amy: My husband and I have been passing a journal back and forth for years also. Sometimes I only see it four times a year, but sometimes it shows up once or twice a month for a good long time. We use it for tough issues, curiosities, love letters, and even a few gripe sessions on HUGE issues. I'd rather have my anniversary letters from my husband all recorded in that journal than a stack of Hallmark cards! And when I see that black journal (use one that he won't mind slipping in his brifcase if necessary), I get so excited about the upcoming communication, whatever it may be, just because I know there's an opportunity coming up where we'll really connect deeply on something.

When your husand asks you to do something, do you do it in a timely fashion and with a kind attitude? The reason that I ask is that sometimes we get busy and we tend to put off things. Putting off a request from your husband can send the message that you don't value him or, worse, that you're mad at him or trying to hurt him. Be sure to put his requests at or near the top of your to do list and get them done.
People know you for what you've done, not for what you plan to do.

At Christmas, I bought a game for the family (The Settlers of Catan) on the recommendation of a friend. Boy, howdy, were the rules a challenge to understand. Thankfully, said friend was willing to talk us through a game and now we love it. Games are a part of our couple, family and friend time. It's a great way to socialize and just have fun (something that is good for any relatinship).
So, check out your local game store and buy a new game (or pull out an old favorite). Grab your husband, declare game night and have some fun.
It's not true that nice guys finish last. Nice guys are winners before the game even starts.

Just a reminder to brush your teeth or pop a mint in your mouth before meeting your husband somewhere. Fresh breath kisses are a great welcome.
Your lips, my bride, drip oney; honey and milk are under your tontue ...
