One year my sister decorated matching shirts for herself and her daughter. She wrote “My husband is my hero” on her shirt and “Daddy is my hero” on her daughter’s shirt, and they wore them to church on Father’s Day.

Last year I bought an inexpensive canvass and let my (then) 2 year old son use paint and brushes to make an art work for Daddy. It now hangs proudly in his office behind his desk.

Last year my teenage kids bought his favorite golfballs, and wrote with a Sharpie special messages on them like “best dad”, “I love you”, “I’m glad you’re my dad”, etc…he loved it! He was then encouraged to go out and enjoy a round of golf, which he did!

This year my husband had my kids write me letters for Mothers Day telling me how much and why they love me. It was the greatest thing ever. This Fathers Day I plan on doing the same for him.
Every year I take my kids to the dollar Store and have them pick out one gift they think Daddy will love (they usually wrap it too). It is so funny hearing them tell Daddy why that gift made them think of him. He loves it!
One year we decided to all pick out his favorite snacks. Each kid chose a snack they thought he would enjoy. Then we put it all together and made him a snack box (that we decorated). He loved that one too!

My hubby is notorious for showing off pics of his six kids to his coworkers. And he loves coffee. I plan to order him a photo coffee mug. :)

One year someone gave me a gift certificate for a massage. I held it because I never had the time to go. So on Father’s day me and the kids surprised him by dropping him off for a massage and when we picked him up we took him to dinner at his favorite spot. He never had a massage before and was not too keen on the idea until we picked him up and saw how relaxed and loose he felt.

My daughter and I are making these this year – she’s doing one for my husband, and I’m doing one for my dad.

I have already ordered two photo books from this site and absolutely LOVE the service, product and entire way God has worked in this project and people involved to help us feel closer to Jesus and see Him in a more modern setting to relate.

I’ve been thinking about getting my DH a pedicure. My brother had one recently and said it was very relaxing and he enjoyed it. My sis-n-law piped up telling us that every man should have one.
