    Hi Lori

I had linked to your site some years ago when there was an article full of helpful tips for “tired moms”. I have a link report saying that it no longer exists…could you please give me the new URL or advise if you have deleted the article so that I can update my site.

    Thanks!
    Wendy

Almost all of our kids are out of the house, now. My husband told me that he was going to try to hang on until the last one leaves, but he didn’t know if he could wait that long.

I don’t meet his expectations, he told me that. I need to loose weight, the house is a mess.

I know I need to wake up each day and live the day glorifying God in what I do. I realize that a lot of the friction is my fault.

However, I never hear that from my husband that he does anything wrong. He says he is “normal”, and that I am not.

I am discouraged. I need a website to go to.

I love your daily emails; however, they seem to be for couples that generally get along.

Where may I go for encouragement?

I feel like I’ve given up my career for my husband and our children, and now that all are almost out of the house, I get thrown out by my husband.

I could have been an attractive, slender, career woman, like the women my husband works with every day – but I didn’t. However, he compares me to them.

The email address is not my email address. I don’t know if I’ll be able to find your reply on your site (since I didn’t give my correct email address, but I just couldn’t write my real email address down).

@Sue, I hope you are able to find this.

    I would start with http://www.marriagebuilders.com/

The site is somewhat geared to couples dealing with infidelity, but would be a great place to start for any troubled couple because it helps you navigate through the issues even when there are hard feelings.

    Praying for you big time.
