A Little Understanding

June 24, 2014

in the generous life

We all need a certain amount of affirmation and understanding.

When your husband is struggling, try to listen and identify with his struggles. Most troubles are common to human kind so it is fairly easy to identify with fears, hurts and concerns.

So when he says he’s tired of the friction at work, commiserate, give hugs and pray for his day.

When he wakes up sore the next day after playing football with his friends, empathize and give him a massage.

Meet your husband were he is and give him a little understanding.

Always be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle.  Plato
