in the generous life

When you agree to do something for your husband, how timely are you about follow through?

Most of the time I do fairly well with this, but I have a few areas of procrastination I need to work on. I do want to do better because I know putting things off speaks lack of love and lack of respect. Don’t want to go there.

For me, procrastination is usually about feeling overwhelmed by what I need to do. I figure if I break that “something” up into “smaller somethings” and list them on my to do program (I use the free program), I’m more likely to get it done in a timely way.

People with integrity do what they say they are going to do. Others have excuses. Dr. Laura Schlessinger

Hi Lori :),

You’ve got me curious–I notice that the “to do” program you linked is Nozbe, rather than Simpleology (which I started when you recommended it last year). What won you over?

Thanks for the daily encouragement to be generous!

Blessings :)

I’m always checking out new programs and this one seems more intuitive to me. It works for my brain. It doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles that Simpleology has, but it has everything I need.
