In My Neck of the Woods

March 6, 2014

in the generous life

All this talk of travel has made me realize that I don’t know my area of the world as well as I should. There are places that I haven’t gone and sights I haven’t seen. Many are free or inexpensive.

I’m thinking there are some date ideas in this and I’ve started asking friends what they like to do in our neck of the woods.

There is a farm museum and a wild cat zoo. Greenbluff is an area of growers open to the public. There are scenic roads in abundance (Washington state is amazingly beautiful) and plenty of places for picnics (as soon as the weather warms up).

What is near where you live that could be turned into a “tourist date” with your spouse?

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.  Jawaharal Nehru
