in the generous life

Feeling challenged when it comes to date night ideas?

Pick a letter and do things that start with that letter. For example, if you pick “R” you could Read to each other, eat at the Restaurant of your choice, or Rest in a hammock on your patio (perhaps feed each other Raspberries).

At the beginning of the week one of you picks a letter. Spend the week brainstorming ideas and narrowing it down to something you can do for date night. Next date night the other spouse gets to pick a letter.

If plan A doesn’t work, the alphabet has 25 more letters – 204 if you’re in Japan.  Claire Cook

Online fundraising for March RepeatMarch Repeat: Over the next five weeks, Paul and I are looking to raise $250 in recurring monthly support. We haven’t asked for recurring donations for some time, and natural attrition has reduced what we have coming in. If you can help us out with $10, or $25 or more each month we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.

Oh, how I love this idea. We have a box of plastic letters leftover from when I home-schooled. I never knew I might be using them again so soon. I was thinking grandchildren, but this idea is a perfect application for them. Thank you for the creative idea.
