Serve Up His Favorite

February 22, 2014

in the generous life

What is your husband’s favorite food?

Find a way to work that into your menu plan fairly frequently, perhaps even create a little variety.

For example if your husband likes pizza, have a weekly pizza night (try different varieties), serve pizza on game night with friends, try creating a dessert pizza or make and freeze some pizza pockets. (Gaye of Calm.Healthy.Sexy shared a freezer pizza dough recipe awhile back that turns out great.)

If your guy likes roast beef, cook up a roast and use leftovers for sandwiches, toquitos or a hearty stew.

Most foods can be prepared a number of ways. Bless your man by serving up his favorites.

Nothing would be more tiresome than eating and drinking if God had not made them a pleasure as well as a necessity.  Voltaire

Lori – Great reminder to think about our husbands’ preferences when planning meals and cooking. And thank you for sharing my pizza dough recipe.
