2013 Grow Your Marriage Awards

December 31, 2013

in the generous life

One of the best things you can do is subscribe to great marriage blogs. The frequent exposure to marriage positive ideas and perspectives is a wonderful way to challenge yourself to grow and improve your marriage skills.

At the end of each year, I give out awards to blogs that routinely produce great marriage material. Why not subscribe to a couple of them as we move into the new year? Let their wisdom and encouragement help you stay on track in your marriage.

Positive Voices

♥ Calm Healthy Sexy  Gaye consistently puts out great practical material. She’s all about a sane lifestyle that is marriage friendly.
Happy Wives Club  Fawn has gathered an amazing team of writers. They are busy working to change cultural attitudes toward marriage and create a marriage positive tribe. Join their Million Member Challenge! New book: Happy Wives Club: One Woman’s Worldwide Search for the Secrets of a Great Marriage
Stupendous Marriage  Stu & Lisa do a great podcast discussing marriage related topics, including a fair number of interesting interviews.

Hot, Holy & Humorous  “J” continues to make me laugh as she takes on the good, the bad and the funny of sex. New book:  Sex Savvy: A Lovemaking Guide for Christian Wives
Intimacy in Marriage  Julie is a delightful author, covering a variety of sexual topics with grace and humor. New book: Pursuit of Passion: Discovering True Intimacy in Your Marriage
♥ To Love, Honor and Vacuum  Sheila writes about a number of marriage and family issues, and is a strong help for developing a sex positive attitude.

Promising Newcomers

♥ The Forgiven Wife  This blog is like a window into the soul of a gal (Chris) on a healing journey. It’s amazing, painful, joyous, insightful, convicting and so much more.
♥ The XY Code  Gotta love my man. He’s a brave guy to take on the subject of explaining men to women.

Great Tweets

♥ @ForBetterOrWhat  Rosemary is totally gifted when it comes to Tweets. If you’re into Twitter, she’s definitely someone to follow.

Bless y’all for all your hard work! I know how hard it can be to stay vulnerable and real and then stay focused enough to write regularly. Your faithfulness is an encouragement to me.

I look forward to heaven when we can see the ripple effect of our writings, God working through others to us and through us to others. All the little conversations and encouragements. It’s going to be very cool. :)
