A Time to Remember

December 14, 2013

in the generous life

From The Generous Wife archive:

One of the things that makes the holidays both “special” and “difficult” are holiday memories.

Take the time to encourage your husband to share. Ask about the difficult memories in private and the special memories when you’re gathered with family and friends. Pass on the good, cover the difficult with grace and comfort.

We do not remember days; we remember moments.  Cesare Pavese

The Forgiven Wife: Park Your “Sexy” in the Garage I love this gal’s analogies and living in the (very cold right now) Northwest, I totally get this one.

Warrior Wives: Confrontation in Marriage: Part One Looks to be an interesting series. She starts with how we all go wrong when we attempt confrontation.

Sheila Gregoire’s book The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex is on sale for $2.99 (ebook version). Snap one up now and read it in the new year.

And if you’re shopping online this weekend, please start on the Shop and Support TGW page. It won’t change your purchase price, but I will receive a small commission.

It’s about time to look back on what were the good things and bad things that happened this year. Hubby and I loves to talk about it over a hot cocoa :)

Whatever may have happened, good or bad, we need to recollect and reflect. Clean slate for 2014! :)
