Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate

in the generous life

From The Generous Wife archive:

You know, most guys like chocolate too.  Why not buy your husband a small (or large) sampler box of chocolates

You could tuck a love note in it or you could eat one chocolate and replace it with another small gift, a gift within a gift so to speak. (I figure that’s as good a rationalization for snitching a chocolate as any. “I had to eat the chocolate to make room for the gift!”)

I never met a chocolate I didn’t like. Deanna Troi (in Star Trek: The Next Generation)

This is how my husband proposed. Hid the ring in the box of chocolates. Was very sweet. :)

Oh, that is such a sweet, romantic idea.
