The Best Christmas Gift

in the generous life

… a wife that is happy, friendly, and relaxed.

Please don’t think, “yeah, right” and set the idea down as something too simplistic or ordinary (or maybe un-doable?).

I’ve read books, taken surveys and talked to (literally) thousands of guys and they all really, really appreciate it when their wives are relaxed and happy. It’s something that I hear/read again and again and again.

What would it take in your life to walk through your day mostly happy, friendly and relaxed?

That question stalls me out a bit. I can walk in each of those some of the time, but I still tend to get too busy and I’m stressed far too often. Happy? That’s an ongoing adventure, having been a glass-half-empty gal with lots of baggage.

How’s your life? What would you have to do to live the happy-friendly-relaxed life?

For the despondent, every day brings trouble; for the happy heart, life is a continual feast.  Proverbs 15:15  NLT

This really hits home, in a good way! I need to work on this, and my husband more than deserves it. Thank you for sharing!
