Countdown to Christmas for Couples

November 12, 2013

in the generous life

Advent is not just for children. It’s for couples too!

I’ve created a FREE DOWNLOAD of advent ideas for you and your husband. Print it out, cut up the slips and have a little fun with your sweetie each day in December leading up Christmas. (I’m sharing it now because you need to read them before December 1st and gather any needed materials.)

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS for couples

Feel free to add to or simplify the ideas. You may also want to swap out ideas if there is something meaningful that you and your husband do as a holiday tradition. (If you want to share your Christmas advent ideas for couples, please leave them as a comment to this post.)

Print out and enjoy!

Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas.  Peg Bracken

Thank you! This was on my to-do list for this week and you’ve done most of the work for me.

Starbucks has advent calenders this year that are little metal tins numbered 1-25 with magnets that attach to a small chalkboard. I’m planning to add your ideas to some of the tins and add small gifts to others and give it to my DH on Dec 1st. I love that it’s more grown-up looking than a lot of advent calenders and since it’s not Christmas specific I’m thinking I can use it for other events too. I might do a countdown to our anniversary, just use 1-14 to countdown to Valentines day, etc.

What a cute idea. I see a visit to Starbucks in my future.
