There are a number of places where the Bible instructs us to encourage those around us. I figure this includes our husbands too.
My husband is a “words of affirmation” kind of guy, so encouraging him means telling him that I believe in him, that he matters, that I love him. It also means knowing him well enough to stand with him and make room for the unique person that he is. It means praying for what matters to him and supporting him in his passions and callings.
