A Game to Try

August 5, 2013

in the generous life

The last couple of times my husband and I have hung out with friends we played Mexican Train.

It’s a domino game and it’s fairly easy to learn. It’s also a game that is simple enough you can play and have conversation at the same time.

I’m collecting a small group of great games to have on hand for social occasions. It’s one more thing you can do as a couple.

Hey – that’s one that Robert and I play too!

Dominoes are easy to take with us when traveling, however we’ve learned not to play on those old-fashioned picnic tables – the ones with slats with just enough open space between each slat for the dominoes to fall down… (just an fyi) :-)

Another easy one we play with friends once a month is Chicken Foot. The hardest thing about the game, as we get talking, is keeping track of whose play it is.
