in the generous life

We have this really cool waffle maker.

I try to remember to pull it out fairly frequently. There’s just something about having a fun breakfast to start your day.

Why not plan a nice breakfast for your man. What is fun for y’all? Waffles? Cinnamon rolls? Breakfast burritos? (If mornings are totally out, you can have breakfast for dinner!)

“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,” said Piglet at last, “what’s the first thing you say to yourself?
“What’s for breakfast?” said Pooh.

My husband and I spend our workweeks looking forward to make Saturday brunch together, usually frittatas. What I love about waffles is that on a non-chaotic day, I can make a big batch and then throw them in the freezer for weekday mornings – hearty breakfasts on he fly. I always manage to surprise my husband with that, glad that he and I have the same love language – food. We feel loved when others share with us, and we show love by sharing with others.

We do the frittata thing too. Yummy.

I like your freezer idea. I’ve been exploring more freezer options to save time.
