Stay in Touch

July 18, 2013

in the generous life

Be intentional about touch over the weekend.

Snuggle up first thing in the morning, hug him in the hallway, give his shoulders a rub or sit next to him and hold hands. Touch. Connect. Be intimate.

Hugging has no unpleasant side effects and is all natural.  There are no batteries to replace, it’s inflation-proof and non-fattening with no monthly payments.  It’s non-taxable, non-polluting, and is, of course, fully refundable.  Author Unknown

Rob loves it when I reach over and massage his neck/scalp as we’re driving… we’re also known to waylay each other in our hallway and ask for a kiss as a toll!

I’m much more playful with my touches than he is – somehow he doesn’t equate tickling as a loving touch… :-)
