Tetris Attack

July 3, 2013

in the generous life

My husband and I have started playing Tetris Attack (yes, we have an old Super Nintendo game system). I actually pulled out the game when I needed something to do with my son when he visited, but it has turned out to be a fun activity for me and my sweetie.

We’re both fairly competitive, but we have learned to be gracious losers and winners (well, most of the time).  ;)

Why not look for a game to play with your husband. Video game, board game, card game, sports game, whatever. It can be whatever you both enjoy or perhaps try something new!

Most people think video games are all about a child staring at a TV with a joystick in his hands. I don’t. They should belong to the entire family. I want families to play video games together. Shigeru Miyamoto

I have a refurbished Super NES too, and my sister has a copy of this game. It’s an okay game, but I prefer the original “Tetris” and “Dr. Mario”.

I’ve not played “Dr. Mario.” We do have Super Mario World and Donkey Kong (and a bunch of games that my son used to play that I’m terrible at because I have a bad sense of direction).

We like playing Tetris Party Deluxe on the Wii because it allows us to play on the same team vs. the Wii (or vs. other people but usually it’s just us). Sometimes it’s fun to be competitive but it’s also nice to be on the same team!
