Rest Together

June 30, 2013

in the generous life

A couple of days ago I encouraged y’all to make time to rest. It’s an integral part of being healthy.

I think the same could be said for the marriage relationship. Make time to rest together.

Take a nap this afternoon, curl up and watch a movie together, or sit and work on a puzzle together. You need those times of quiet where you can rest and connect on a softer level.

When you rest, realize it is not simply ceasing from activity… it is a gift from God.  Dillon Burroughs
