Snuggle Time

June 1, 2013

in the generous life

I’ve been getting up a little earlier on weekends to do a bit of garage sale-ing. I realized quickly enough that my sweetie and I are missing out on snuggle time because of this.

So I make a point of giving more hugs and generally touching more during the day (and if I get back early enough (yes, we are night owls and sleep in mornings) I slip right back in bed so that we don’t miss out on that needed touch).

Keep an eye on the snuggle factor in your marriage and add more as appropriate.

This is a great point. I’ve been thinking about making a change in my routine/schedule, but am hesitant to do it because it would cut into time that my hubby and I have to sit in bed and drink coffee and talk for a few minutes in the morning.

Having a busy schedule, we need time for CONNECTION with the person closest to our heart and that is our spouse! So make it a point that we have at least 30 minutes in a day for bonding moments. This will really help our marriage keep the fire burning! :)
