An Ounce of Prevention

in the generous life

From The Generous Wife archive:

The next time your husband has a clumsy moment, ask yourself if there is something practical that you can do that will reduce the chance of that happening again.

Things like organizing a shelf (so he doesn’t wind up under an avalanche of items) or securing a rug (so he doesn’t trip on it again) can make his life easier (and less dangerous!). And, if you know he is going to routinely break something and you can’t do anything about it, keep a few of those items on hand (my husband is always breaking drill bits). Pray for his overall safety as well.

Thanks so much for sharing my post, Lori!

Wow, the “Be Happy?” post is very powerful. What a painful way to learn the lesson of happiness.
