Every Hour On the Hour

May 25, 2013

in the generous life

Pick a day when you and your husband will be home and do something to bless your husband every hour on the hour for the whole day.

Here are some ideas:

Kiss him or flash him.
Give him a small gift (this will take a bit of planning).
Pay him a compliment.
Buy a bag of flavored jelly beans, taste and guess the flavor.

At first he’ll be pleasantly surprised, but once he catches on he’ll look forward to the hourly treat.

If we take care of the moments, the years will take care of themselves.  Maria Edgeworth

“kiss him, or flash him” lol :) I know hubby is looking at my back side when I’m walking away so I usually make it more interesting ;)

Good for you. You know what pleases and pleasure him and make a concious effort to connect in that way. VERY smart wife to know this and realize he is not just objectifying your body with his visual preferences. Applause all around.

Ooh, my honey loves Jelly Beans so he’d love that idea. I like the every hour on the hour idea. Years ago, my brother-in-law had me help him surprise my sister with the most lavish gift. He had me order 10 dozen roses and had them one dozen roses at a time every hour on the hour for 10 hours straight. It was pretty cool.

I absolutely ADORE this idea! Imagine if we practiced it every single day with all the people in our lives how much our relationships would transform for the better. Imagine how much our lives would change. I love this and am putting it into practice for sure! Thank you so much for this idea :)
