in the generous life

Invite your husband to a time of rest.

Sit on the couch for conversation. Take a nap. Pray together. Curl up and watch a movie. Have a leisurely meal. Sit on the patio and watch the sunset.

Rest your bodies and your minds. A little down time is good for you.

And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.  Mark 6:31  ESV

I love this! This is so something I need to do in my marriage. My husband and I need to “rest” and “relax” more often. We definitely like snuggling together.

I live such a busy life that we hardly ever have any time to do any resting, we get about half an hour of pillow talk and that is pretty much it!
