Solid Honesty

in the generous life

How honest are you with your husband? Do you leave out little things? Do you put quite a bit of spin on how you share with him? Do you lie?

All those little bits of dishonesty erode the level of intimacy and trust in your marriage.

Yes, I know, it’s tough to own up to the truth. It’s embarrassing to admit that you left something out or that you lied. Sometimes the consequence can be hard on you and your marriage relationship, but honesty really is the best policy.

Why not ‘fess up and start a new habit of solid honesty with your spouse. It’s OK to pick a good time and place to share, but don’t wait too long.

If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.  Mark Twain
