I'm sick.
I don't do sick well ... and it's the upset tummy kind of sick. {sigh}

When I have days like this I cut back to bare minimum. What absolutely has to be taken care of or it will blow up?
Generous blog post (y'all won't blow up, but I've committed to writing every day)
1 load of laundry, if needed
give my sweetie some attention (granted it is not brilliant conversation, but it is attention)
prayer (yes, some of it is of the "oh, God" variety)
I peek in the kitchen and make sure there is easy put-together food.
When you have a sick day, what's on your important, need-to-take-care-of list? I encourage you to make sure your husband is on that list. Life happens, sometimes yucky keep-a-bowl-by-your-bed kind of life. If you wait until life is perfect to connect meaningfully with your sweetie, there's bound to be a fair amount of drift in your marriage because life refuses to be perfect.
Somebody needs to have a serious talk with life about it's attitudes ...
Stuff happens. OK, so a lot of people say this. Give me a break. I'm sick.
