Tweezers Suck

February 28, 2013

in the generous life

I just did a touch up on my hair color and removed a bit of hair here and there (what is it with age that gives you hair where you don’t want it and removes hair where you do want it?).

This bit of primping isn’t going to make me a Cosmo model, but it just feels nice to pretty up. I also think my husband appreciates it (given that I appreciate it when he takes the time to look nice for me).

Why not make time this week to do something special to look nice. For yourself. For your sweetie.

Thanks for the encouragement, Lori. Sometimes I get so busy with work I forget small things like this even matter. I tend to wait until the weekend because my weekdays are so packed but there are small things I can do to “jazz it up” a bit during the week (for one thing…I can get off the computer :)).

Good point. I appreciate my wife constantly telling me that she finds me attractive and I do my best to tell her as often as I can that she’s beautiful. It really does make a difference to us and to our happiness. Thank you for the reminder!

This made me laugh good naturedly because hubby will tell me how pretty I am when I’m asleep drooling on my pillow, yet won’t say a word if I take the time and effort to primo and dress up for him.
