Woo-Hoo! I Won!

in the generous life

♥ ♥ ♥ 6 days to Valentine’s Day! ♥ ♥ ♥

OK, so I’m a bit hyped. I just won a $50 gift certificate to the restaurant of my choice.

moolalaIt’s a Moolala thing.

I try really hard to recommend things of value to y’all. Off and on, I point to services that have nice offers and save you a penny or two as well.

Moolala offers a number of deals at great prices. Among the things they offer are getaways, restaurant deals, etc. ~ things that might make for some great couple time. If you’re going to spend money, you might as well be thrifty about it (please don’t buy things you can’t afford or don’t need ~ this is the minimalist in me talking).

Well Moolala has started offering some free stuff to “buy” (usually it’s a drawing/contest entry). It cost me nothing to enter to win the restaurant gift certificate (OK, it cost me the few seconds where I pushed the “to buy” button), but I now have the makings of a fun date night.

So, check out Moolala and look for some penny saving deals for you and your sweetie.

How do you save pennies on couple time? Please feel free to share your ideas as a comment.

Every year for our Anniversay (14 years on February 13th!) my husband and I go away for one night. We don’t have a lot of extra money so we use the points that we accrue from using Citibank all year long. We haven’t had to “pay” for our hotel stay in YEARS! :)
