♥ ♥ ♥ 19 days to Valentine's Day! ♥ ♥ ♥
What does your self-talk sound like?
My nose is soooo big.
The house is such a mess.
I have no talents.
What does your marriage self-talk sound like?
My husband is tired of me.
My marriage will never get any better.
I hate sex.
Time to clean up your thinking. No, I'm not talking about lying to yourself. I'm saying that your thoughts (self-talk) can shape your reality and often your future. Don't give in to the negatives.
Don't speak down. Speak up.

Speak positive. Speak gratitude. Speak hope. Speak faith.
I'm so grateful for my home.
Thank you, God, for my health and the gracious femininity You've given me.
I'm going to plan for some time with my sweetie tonight.
God, please continue to grow our marriage.
Try that for a week and watch your attitudes, your marriage and your life change!
Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will. Zig Ziglar

Thanks Lori, for the good reminder. It is so easy to fall into negative thought patterns, perhaps even more so in January and February, when things seem a little gloomy anyway!

Normally winter doesn’t bother me, but this year for some reason I got tired of snow sooner. Can’t wait for spring and daffodils!

Thank you for this. I’ve noticed that lately I’ve been very, very negative in my life. I don’t know why, but I have noticed that it is starting to affect other areas. I needed this to help me get out of this funk that I’m in.
