Generous Choices

in the generous life

From the Generous Wife archive:

Give your husband a choice between two things (that he likes).

For example, offer him the choice between two of his favorite meals, two movies to watch or two bedroom activities.  It’s just a nice little twist on blessing your sweetie.

Hmmm…good idea! He loves to “choose”. I usually do this on weekends. He picks what he wants to do and eat and we do that. Husbands are easy like that. It’s not so hard to please them once you really know them! That way, it’s women who are difficult to please!  Ha ha …yes, I’m a woman, and I know my kind!!  This new year I’m gonna do a lot more fun things for my husband. He works hard at his job; he needs something to look forward to after a long day!

@Ellen Thanks for commenting. Yes, blessing out husbands just requires a bit of effort and creativity. I like the “choice” option because if you are a bit nervous about trying new things, you can ease into it by offering “baby step” choices to your guy. He’ll be blessed that you are trying something new and you can relax a bit by taking things at your speed.
