Take the Time

in the generous life

As Christmas approaches find a quiet moment to reflect on the goodness and incredible generosity of God in sending His Son.

We would not be where we are, with the loved ones we have, in the grace with which we live without the gift of a child, born so long ago in a dirty stable. We would not face a beautiful eternity.

If your husband is a believer, pull him into a hug and share your thoughts and a prayer.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.  Luke 2:10-12  NIV

Mu husband continues to have an affair despite being confronted. Pray he makes the right choice but if he doesn’t, pray I have the strength to make the right choice.

That I would surrender and trust God and honor my husband, as the direction he wants our family to take in this major decision is opposite of what I think will bring healing.
