My husband and I are talking about studying together in the New Year (probably reading through the New Testament and discussing it).
I encourage y’all to do some studying as well. Take a bit of time to think about what you want to learn. Perhaps enjoy the holidays and start a study in the New Year (you could even add a book to your Wishlist for Christmas presents!).
Studying with your husband or a friend is a good idea (it helps you both stay on track), though some folks just do better studying on their own. Season of life may have an impact on how deeply you study, but the point is to read and study (or listen to a book when you are walking or doing chores, my husband listens to the Bible on his phone).
Growing people are interesting and studies will challenge you and move you toward maturity (a healthy thing for any marriage).
Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence. Abigail Adams
