Observe and Note

December 6, 2012

in the generous life

As you move through the holidays, take note of a few things.

What works.
What doesn’t work.
Neat ideas that you would like to try.

Grab a notebook or use Evernote to write the info down for later. You might not get around to the “neat ideas” this year, but notes can help you remember for next year. Plus you’ll be ahead of the game knowing “what works” and “what doesn’t work.” Continue to refine your notes each year.

Taking notes can save you a lot of hassle and keep your holidays fun, meaningful and organized.

Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it’s not all mixed up. A.A. Milne

Love the idea of putting those great ideas into Evernote. I use it for so much and refer to it often. It is so much better than sifting through my multiple notes and notebooks!

It’s replaced my “brain in a binder.” I now have my brain on Evernote so that it goes wherever I do. I do most of my work on my home computer, but I can access it by phone anywhere.
