My husband and I have been talking about doing things before they need doing and generally being well prepared. We gather needed articles before starting a project. We do our studying for the marriage class early. We are thinking ahead to upcoming needs.
It’s amazing how much time (and sanity) we are saving and how our work is showing better quality. We have the time to think things through and we can manage those “life happens” moments better.
I would encourage y’all to take some time to think about this concept. It can benefit so many areas of your life. If you have meals planned for the week, there won’t be any of those “it’s 4 pm and I don’t know what’s for dinner!” moments. If you create a game basket, you can have fun with your sweetie at a moment’s notice. With planning you can make time for the important things and there will be fewer “I wish I had done …” moments.
It’s not the will to win that matters—everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters. Paul “Bear” Bryant
