From The Generous Wife archive:
As the seasons are changing, go through your clothes and get rid of items that don’t fit, look worn/old or just don’t look good on you any more. Pack away any off season clothes. Look at the clothes that remain and mend, hem, etc.
Is there an item or two that will dress up what you have?
Is there a color that your husband likes to see you wear?
What do you need for the holidays?
Do you need any new seasonal wear (winter for some, summer for others)?
Don’t forget to get some pretty undies or sleepwear/lingerie.
When you’re done with your clothes and accessories, offer to help your husband with his.
Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up. A. A. Milne
