From The Generous Wife archive:
I’m working on a puzzle (the trees are totally giving me grief).
I think it’s a cool idea to invite your spouse to join you in working a puzzle (especially if they are willing to help you with the trees). You get a little quiet time where you can talk, or not. It’s good couple time and good relaxing time.
Yes, I understand that not all people are puzzle people, so if puzzles aren’t a good fit, cook in the kitchen together or work crossword puzzles together (or just side by side and help each other with clues). Or you could go all techie and play scrabble with each other on your phones. The idea is to find something fun and relatively relaxing to do together.
