I was surfing and ran across this image ~ DIY: Mini easel. It’s a small easel that holds a post-it note pad. The author even shows you how to make your own mini easel. How cute is that? And think of the love note applications!
I quickly “pinned” that little booger.
For those of you who don’t know what “pinning” is, I encourage you to check out Pinterest and the lovely collection of ideas that people are gathering there. When you join, you can create multiple bulletin “boards” and “pin” pictures to your “boards.” Each picture links to the source of that picture, so you can click on the image and follow it back to gain info and context.
Some people humorously poke fun at Pinterest because you tend to do a lot of collecting and wonder if you will ever get around to using all the ideas, but I think that even if you don’t use all your “pins” they are still influencing you. They help you focus on what you love and what is important to you. The sayings can encourage you and (this one is for me) they help you not lose ideas that you really do want to try.
As a marriage resource, I think Pinterest is great. You can collect romantic ideas, marriage quotes, links to great marriage blogs, ideas for dates or romantic getaways, and more. I figure this is just one more marriage tool that is likely to be helpful for many of you. So try it out …
… and make a mini-easel to showcase your love note art.
