I ran across this quote on Pinterest and thought about what that could look like.
Do you love reading? Then spend time reading, read to your kids, go to literary events, help your local library, etc.
Do you want a peaceful home? Then practice speaking kindly, look for ways to organize and simplify your home, pick healthy sources of entertainment on TV, etc.
So you want a happy marriage? Then choose to be a happy person, invite your sweetie for a walk, read books about building your marriage, ambush your husband and drag him off to the bedroom, etc.
I know there are times that we need to clearly stand against something that is wrong , but for the most part the more you invest in what you love and want, the less time and energy you will waste doing what has little value and effectiveness.
