May I Help You?

in the generous life

(Yesterday I mentioned a survey on The Marriage Bed’s Facebook page ~ Why Do You Say No to Sex? Some of you were a bit concerned about anonymity. The survey is completely anonymous. Admins don’t get your personal information and it doesn’t show up that you voted (on The Marriage Bed page or your personal page). I did check and there is a problem with the survey results. When it is closed, I will get the stats and post them here. Should be very, very interesting.)

My husband and I and two other couples are running a garage sale over the weekend. (I am waaay tired and a little sunburned.)

I just want to give my husband props. He has been so helpful and aware of others’ needs. He helped carry purchases to cars, chased rambunctious kids, got me something to drink and frequently asked, “Is there something I can do for you?” Dude, you rock.

I love to learn from people when they do things right. (I’m willing to learn from others’ mistakes, but it’s far more fun to learn from their successes.) So let’s learn from my sweetie’s helpfulness and willingness to serve. Yes, it takes energy and effort, but what a lovely gift to give to others.

Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.  William James

I love biographies. You get to learn about the “real” life of people (all the ups and downs and how they handled them). Here’s an inspiring mini-biography ~ Great Teamwork During a Time of Turbulence (from Ferguson Values)
