Bake a Blessing

May 8, 2012

in the generous life

My husband just made a couple of cheesecakes.

That may not sound like much unless you’ve tasted one (they are really great). It’s now a family favorite and we all feel pretty loved and blessed when he gets busy in the kitchen whipping up a raspberry cheesecake or one with dark chocolate.

What kind of meals or treats are special in your family? Why not plan a time this week to bless your sweetie and family with their favorites?

I just baked these bars for my hubby! I like to bake treats for him to take to his workplace every other week. Helps his co-workers to be kind, him to be respected and tummies to be full! Butterscotch in particular is my husband’s favorite, so when I found these on pinterest.com, I figured they were worth a try!

This is so awesome! I totally just encouraged my Twitter followers today to bake something sweet for their husband (or pick up a sweet treat at the store). I baked peanut butter cookies late last night while my husband was at work and slipped them in his dinner tonight without him noticing. They are his favorites. I think baking should be added to the 5 love languages because my husband sure loves being loved on in that way.
