The other day I looked at myself and, well, I was looking pretty frumpy (my Tshirt actually had holes in it). [shaking head]
So right there I decided that I need to take a bit more time in my personal morning routine and, thankfully, I’ve been saving up in my clothing budget so I hope to remedy the holey Tshirt situation (that baby is in the trash).
I know that life happens and there are limits to what we can do in different seasons of life, but I encourage you to take a look at how you look in general. Do you need to go through your closet and get rid of clothes that are worn or don’t fit well? Do you need to style your hair differently or wear more or less makeup? What changes do you need to make? How can you work that into your day? (be realistic)
I think it’s important to dress in ways that are comfortable and work for you, but it’s not a bad thing to keep your husband in mind (he does have to look at you and it’s nice to see a smile on his face).
How beautiful you are and how pleasing, my love, with your delights! Song of Songs 7:6 NIV
