in the generous life

Just a reminder to brush your teeth, use a bit of mouthwash and/or keep mints handy.  A kiss delivered with fresh breath is a lovely gift.

May … the fragrance of your breath [be] like apples, and your mouth like the best wine. Song of Songs 7:8b-9   NIV

not sure why, but I kinda think this is funny. My husband, and lots of other people think I am obsessive about brushing. I brush about 3 times a day more than him (and he DOES brush).

This post reminds me that it’s the little things that count. What a nice little gift: good breath! :) This is funny and cute and yet profound. It’s important for a wife to keep herself up! And, it’s even in the Bible! Thanks! Happy Easter!

I think sometimes we forget. We get busy and our husbands are understanding. I like to remind myself about when Paul and I were first together. It was important to me to give that to him. Yes, I know he is understanding, but he’s worth a little care and preparation.

Can we remind the husbands about this simple yet profound act of kindness? lol Seriously, what is the best way to gently let your man know he needs to pay attention to his manners and hygiene?
