Go for 21!

in the generous life

This post comes from my sweetie.  I thought it was a very practical/do-able idea for changing the atmosphere in your marriage. I’ve changed the gender so it works for us.

For the next twenty-one days, write down three good things about your bride husband and or your marriage. Do it every day, and do not repeat anything. Do it on paper, or a document on your computer or phone, but do it every day and put them all in the same place.

The result? You will feel better about your bride husband, and your marriage and you will learn to see more of the positive in both.

Doubt me? Try it, really try it, and if it doesn’t work, THEN you can tell me it’s garbage.

Fair credit: I’ve stolen this idea from Shawn Achor (hilarious TED talk here).

I love this idea! Do we share with our hubbies or keep as a reminder of how much we love them?

My husband & I just completed this challenge, today was our Day 21. We both enjoyed it & said it was fun. ;) <3 key NO repeating. The other thing I did was to "Keep them all ( his to me & mine to him) as we did via text, I hope to compile them & do some scrapbook pages. ;) maybe a mini book or something. & give it as a reminder.
