I love organizing and to-do lists, but even so there are still some days when I feel overwhelmed by what needs to be done and I spin my wheels doing things that aren’t terribly productive.
Over the last few weeks I’ve read several posts about dealing with to-do lists in a saner manner. The ones I like best (and have been attempting to follow) are the ones that suggest that you list 3 or 5 or 6 things that need to get done that day. Whatever happens, when the dust settles, you just keep plugging away at those few tasks. It really does help you choose what is important to you and it’s amazing what you can get done with only a few goals each day.
I got to thinking, why couldn’t you do that with your marriage relationship? Why not make a daily list of a few things that you want to do to bless your spouse and build your marriage?
They can be small, simple things, but imagine what an impact that could have on your marriage relationship if daily you knew you were going to aim for a few simple goals.
Encourage Your Spouse shared about I Love You – Letters. I think something like this would be great for any couple. Imagine a collection of letters written over the years. What a lovely encouragement.
