After Christmas Dreaming

December 30, 2011

in the generous life

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. Harriet Tubman

The year is almost over.  Time for a little dreaming and planning with your husband for the new year.

I think I’m becoming a “glass half full” person, either that or learning to coach has enabled me to understand the power of dreams.  There is so much good in each of us and God can do great things in us, if we will only listen to Him and allow Him to work through us.

Share your dreams and your passions with each other.  What would it take to make your dreams come true?  Don’t consider the dream too big, just realize that a bunch of small steps will get you there.  Start on the first step soon.

Wow Lori! This is spot on!

DH and I did a little dreaming on Pinterest last night. Last year, we moved into a newly built house. Although not newlyweds, we are just getting to the point of buying furniture and turning house into a home together, aka decorating. For me, this also means discovering how my groom wants our home to look and feel.

Surprisingly, it was an incredibly bonding experience for me and I look forward to doing more of this in the future together.
